Quick responses from the Indian technology camps are turning out to be great to cut the spread of this deadly virus. From startups to new Indian tech gears, a lot of innovations are shocking the world. 

Of course, this pandemic has brought some complications, but innovators see this as an opportunity to change the world. Frugal innovation mindset of Indians is finding new hacks to solve problems with limited resources.

Indian Tech News: Robots by Asimov Robotics

Social distancing is the new normal these days. A common problem in this pandemic is how to stop the virus from spreading in public places. A startup based in Karela known as Asimov Robotics has deployed robots at the entrances of offices, public buildings, and more. The robot dispenses hand sanitizer and spread awareness about the coronavirus.

Asimov Robotics has deployed robots in isolation wards to carry medicines, food, and other stuff to lighten up the burden of medical staff.

Asimov Robotics is a hot topic these days in the Indian tech news scene. 

COVID-19 Tracking App – Aarogya Setu

Indian government launched an app called Aarogya Setu to track the spread of COVID-19. This app came into the scenes in early April to inform people about risky areas. Aarogya Setu uses Bluetooth and GPS to map places with coronavirus. Note that this app came into the scene before the tech giant Google rolled out a similar alternative. Indian tech newsgroups appreciated the idea of Aarogya Setu and assisted in making it smarter & better.

Coronavirus Testing @ Home & Online Consultation Apps

KlinicApp & Practo are two apps founded by Indian tech startups for online consultation and COVID-19 tests at home. These two apps help the people of India to consult a doctor and for the coronavirus tests.

You can download KlinicApp and book a blood test or health checkup directly from your mobile phone. It’s one of the largest online health Indian tech brands providing diagnostic services at your doorstep in various cities.

Chat with a doctor, book an appointment, order medicines, and do more with the Practo app. It is operating since 2008 but got a substantial overall boost in the COVID-19 pandemic. From 5-6 pm, you can consult top doctors for free!

Indian Tech News: GoK-Kerala Direct

Kerala state government launched an app called GoK-Kerala Direct with the help of a startup called QKopy. The app sends COVID-19 updates and travel information via notifications and to older phones via SMS. The messages are delivered in both English & the local language Malayalam.

These days, Indian tech news is filled with innovators & their super-ideas. The Indian tech scene is booming, and the world is watching great minds making the most of the opportunity in hand.
