Predictive threat intelligence firm CloudSEK has raised $19 million in Series A2 and B1 rounds to boost its AI cybersecurity offerings, expand its SaaS platform, and deepen its reach in global markets. The Bengaluru-based company’s sharp focus on identifying initial attack vectors gives it a critical edge in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
CloudSEK secured the funding from a combination of India- and US-based investors, including MassMutual Ventures, Inflexor Ventures, Prana Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and Commvault. Earlier backers like the Meeran Family, StartupXSeed, Neon Fund, and Exfinity Ventures supported the round, marking confidence in CloudSEK’s predictive model.
The firm plans to extend the current Series B1 into a B2 tranche to bring new investors onboard and allow partial exits for early stakeholders.
Predictive, Not Forensic: The CloudSEK Approach
CloudSEK’s approach to predictive threat intelligence stands in contrast to traditional models that identify breaches only after the damage is done. Instead, the firm’s AI-based system detects signs of threats weeks in advance by tracking initial attack vectors, like leaked credentials, exposed APIs, and third-party compromises.
“We don’t wait for incidents. We anticipate them,” said founder Rahul Sasi. “Our mission is to stop breaches before they begin.”
The fresh capital will power CloudSEK’s next growth phase, especially in AI cybersecurity model development and platform integrations. With the US now the company’s fastest-growing region, CloudSEK intends to scale its AI-driven threat detection solutions for a global clientele.
In fact, more than 60 percent of its net new revenue now comes from international markets. Over the past two years, the company has tripled its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) while remaining positive for cash flow.
“Today, over 60 per cent of our net new revenue comes from international markets, with the US emerging as our fastest-growing region. We’ve achieved this scale while staying cash flow positive,” said Rahul Sasi, co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO), CloudSEK.
SaaS Platform Serving High-Risk Sectors
CloudSEK’s SaaS platform delivers proactive defense solutions to over 250 enterprises spanning banking, healthcare, technology, and public sector clients. Its strength lies in providing real-time insights that allow security teams to act before adversaries can exploit vulnerabilities.
By targeting initial attack vectors, the company helps organizations avert crisis-level incidents through early detection and contextual threat assessment. Founded in 2015, CloudSEK has spent nearly a decade refining its predictive threat intelligence engine. The current momentum validates its pioneering stance in a sector dominated by reactive solutions.
With this latest funding, the company aims to redefine global standards for AI cybersecurity, leveraging its SaaS platform to secure digital ecosystems in a preemptive, intelligent way.
