Delv.AI, a AI startup venture by Indian whiz kid Pranjali Awasthi has taken the tech world by storm as she revealed at a Miami Tech Week event that she kickstarted her venture in January 2022, and her groundbreaking success has led to securing a significant investment of approximately $450,000.
Awasthi, a 16-year-old inspired by her engineer father’s passion for computer science education, embarked on her coding journey at seven. After moving to Florida at 11, she gained access to computer science classes and competitive math programs, setting the stage for her extraordinary trajectory.
Delv.AI, a pioneering AI startup, utilizes artificial intelligence to enhance data extraction processes and eradicate data silos. Awasthi’s vision is to assist researchers in efficiently accessing specific information amidst the ever-expanding online content landscape.
The platform’s success was evident in its beta launch on Product Hunt, a tech platform enabling free software sharing. The exceptional response led to substantial investments from On Deck and Village Global, valuing Delv.AI at $12 million.
Entrepreneurial Journey Ignited at 13
Awasthi’s entrepreneurial journey commenced at 13 during her internship at the research labs of Florida International University. Immersed in machine learning projects due to the pandemic-induced virtual high school, she conceptualized Delv.AI.
Her dedication to her passion led her to an AI startup accelerator in Miami, overseen by industry leaders Lucy Guo and Dave Fontenot. Awasthi’s commitment to her dreams prompted her to defer college temporarily, focusing on her responsibilities as the leader of a dynamic 10-member team at Delv.AI.
Awasthi secured approximately $450,000 (INR 3.7 crore) in funding for Delv.AI through her unwavering commitment. The startup’s LinkedIn profile proudly displays its dedicated team of professionals.
Securing Investments and Deferring College

She plans to return to higher education, aiming to acquire essential business skills beneficial for her company’s growth.
Pranjali Awasthi’s journey from a young coding enthusiast to the founder of Delv.AI exemplifies the power of passion and determination.
