As the world’s 3rd largest startup ecosystem, India’s angel investment network has grown by leaps and bounds over the last decade. An angel investor generally helps in the early stages of deserving startups by putting in the required funds. These highly affluent individuals provide the needed capital in exchange for ownership-equity or convertible debt.

Recently, the Indian Government has done away with angel tax, and SEBI classifies angel funds separately now. These steps have allowed even small individual investors to invest in angel funds units.

If you’re looking for someone who can help you take your startup to the next level, an Angel investor is your best bet. With that in mind, we have listed the most active angel investors in India you can approach for your startup funding.

He also founded Buzzworks, which provides a platform for contact center technology and contracted payroll services.
