Cloud-based testing platform LambdaTest has secured $38 million in funding to transform the industry with AI-driven QA platforms like HyperExecute and KaneAI, showcasing the potential of SaaS AI startups to revolutionize quality assurance processes.
The round was led by Avataar Ventures, with participation from Qualcomm Ventures and other investors. This strategic investment underscores LambdaTest’s commitment to advancing artificial intelligence (AI) in quality assurance (QA), further solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.
LambdaTest aims to transform QA processes with its cutting-edge AI-powered innovations. The company plans to scale its flagship platforms, KaneAI and HyperExecute, to empower software developers and testers globally.
“KaneAI is more than a tool—it’s a transformative approach to QA, empowering teams to test smarter and faster, with less manual effort,” said Asad Khan, chief executive officer and co-founder of LambdaTest.
KaneAI, an AI-native QA agent-as-a-service, reduces manual efforts in test script generation by 40 to 70 percent. Meanwhile, HyperExecute, LambdaTest’s unified test execution and orchestration cloud, enables teams to run tests 70 percent faster than conventional cloud grids. These platforms promise to streamline software development lifecycles and accelerate the delivery of robust applications.
LambdaTest Expanding Reach and Impact
With over 15,000 customers, including Fortune 500 companies, LambdaTest is trusted by 2.3 million developers and testers worldwide. The platform has executed over 1.2 billion tests to date, helping teams release high-quality software quickly and confidently. LambdaTest’s year-on-year growth of 105 percent reflects its success in meeting the demands of an increasingly complex digital landscape.
“Asad and team are a force of nature to be reckoned with—in a short period, they have disrupted the entire market. From creating the first AI-native, no-code QA solution (KaneAI) to launching the only truly end-to-end enterprise-grade, secure test orchestration platform (HyperExecute), they have totally changed the game and pulled the rug out from under existing cloud-based testing vendors,” said Nishant Rao, the founding partner at Avataar.
In a world where literally every industry and company is going through digital transformation, LambdaTest now becomes a must-have solution that delivers the best customer experience and accelerates time to market while meaningfully cutting costs,” added Rao.
Scaling Workforce and Technology
Founded in 2017 by Asad Khan and Jay Singh, LambdaTest operates with approximately 400 employees across India, the US, and the UK. With the new funding, the company plans to expand its engineering team by 15 to 20 percent and enhance its AI-driven offerings to cater to enterprise clients.
“As AI applications on the cloud and on devices become more prevalent, continuous testing with AI-driven automation is essential for accelerating release cycles and improving continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline efficiency,” said Quinn Li, senior vice president, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and global head of Qualcomm Ventures.
“LambdaTest’s comprehensive product suite is transforming software quality assurance with AI-driven autonomous testing systems. We are excited to support their journey,” he added.
The latest funding round brings LambdaTest’s total funding to $108 million, placing its valuation between $400 and $500 million. Previous investors, including Premji Invest, Sequoia Capital India, and Blume Ventures, have consistently backed the company. This surge in investment highlights the growing interest in SaaS AI startups and the vital role LambdaTest plays in the evolving software development ecosystem.
