As for the gaming industry, India is the second-largest gaming market with over 300 million gamers and a total worth of $890 million as per the latest updates. There are over 250 gaming companies in India as compared to the count of 2 in 2010.

Every month, an average of two gaming companies in India is set up to make their mark. Thanks to the spread of smartphones, the demand for entertainment is growing pretty fast. As a response, mobile game development has been the primary focus of gaming companies in India. Today, we will cover the top 5 gaming companies in India.

Octro: One of The Top Gaming Companies i¥In India

Founded back in 2006, Octro’s main focus was VOIP. For over six years, Octro was developing VOIP related tech. In 2012, they fully transitioned to mobile game development. Octro is one of the biggest gaming companies in India at the moment. The company has developed popular games like Indian Rummy, Teen Patti, Tambola, to name a few. To this date, 99 Games has published 18 super-hit titles. 99 Games is a subsidiary of Robosoft Technologies, an Indian software company that aims the Mac market. Rohith Bhat founded 99 Games to take the Indian gaming industry onto the next level.

2Pi Interactive Pvt. Ltd

Creating unique experiences and expanding the boundaries of gaming is the primary goal of 2Pi Interactive Pvt. Ltd. The headquarters of 2Pi Interactive Pvt. Ltd is located in Hyderabad. The company has developed games for every platform; some golden titles are Tangled Up!, Hit Bit Hacker and The Cat Monk. The founders of 2Pi Interactive Pvt. Ltd are B.Venkat Ram Reddy, Surjyabrat Buragohain, & B.Siddhartha Reddy.

Octane Tech

Prashant Bhatia & Sameer K. Bhatia are the masterminds behind Octane Tech. Octane Tech has been developing apps & games since 2008. Octane Tech utilizes cutting-edge technologies like 3D graphics, accelerometer, GPS, and more to build interactive games. Dhruva Interactive
